Milton Art Gallery sits on the banks of the River Dee at Milton of Crathes, offering a light-filled and welcoming space to discover contemporary Scottish art in a relaxed Deeside setting. Bursting with local character, the gallery warmly welcomes art enthusiasts, collectors and visitors alike.
The gallery presents a changing programme of work by some of Scotland’s finest artists and makers, alongside a carefully curated range of prints, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, glass, artisan furniture and gifts. With pieces available at a variety of price points, it offers something to suit both first-time buyers and seasoned collectors.
Milton Art Gallery also stocks a selection of publications and merchandise linked to the Burnett family, whose ancestral home was neighbouring Crathes Castle prior to its transfer to the National Trust for Scotland. These items provide an added connection to the heritage and history of the area for visitors with an interest in Scotland’s past.
An on-site framing studio allows visitors to arrange bespoke framing for artworks and purchases, adding to the gallery’s reputation as both a destination to browse and a place to invest in meaningful pieces. A selection of the gallery’s work can also be viewed online via its website and social media channels.
Open Tuesday – Sunday throughout the year. Private viewings for groups are available by prior arrangement.
