World Horse Welfare Belwade Farm is a horse rescue and rehabilitation centre located in breath taking countryside just off the A93, Aboyne and is open to the public Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Visitors can enjoy walks to see the horses out in the fields in their natural environment, woodland strolls and the River Dee. Dogs are welcome too.
There are daily meet the pony sessions and regular events and activities for the whole family. The visitor centre has more information about our work, a second hand tack shop and a small gift shop.
There is a cafe which serves light lunches and homemade cakes – all the proceeds go to help look after the horses in our care so your treats help them too. Afternoon Tea is also available (prebooked only).
We aim to make our centre as inclusive as possible. We have worked with AccessAble so you can find out about our facilities before you visit. AccessAble’s surveyors assessed our venue to create a Detailed Access Guide. Check out the Detailed Access Guide to Belwade Farm – World Horse Welfare.
Prebook our tickets on the website – free on site parking is available.
