Welcome to Tahuna Bothies, these brand new bespoke modern bothies provide a relaxing, comfortable base from which you can explore the local area.

With panoramic views over the Aberdeenshire coast you can wake up to a gorgeous sunrise over the sea or enjoy a Scottish sunset from the deck with a glass of wine or a cup of tea.

Each bothy provides accommodation for up to four people, a mezzanine bunk area with a super king sized bed and a double sofa bed on the ground floor.  There is a kitchenette equipped with a fridge freezer, microwave, counter top hob, glass wear, dishes, cutlery, cook wear and utensils. Each bothy has a shower room with a toilet, shower and wash basin.

Within walking distance of the bothies you can visit the Ythan Estuary seal colony which attracts visitors from afar with their inquisitive nature, this haul out spot is one of the biggest in Europe for Grey seals.

Also on our doorstep are many first class golf courses with Newburgh Golf Club being literally feet away and Cruden bay, Trump International, Murcar Links, Fraserburgh and many more within short driving distance.

We are also blessed with fantastic walking and cycling routes on our doorstep with Newburgh Beach and Forvie National Nature Reserve within walking distance.

With a great castle trail, quality local eateries for all occasions, fishing and bird watching opportunities and stunning scenery our little piece of Scotland really does have it all.
