The Portsoy Marble Shop and Holiday Cottages can be found down at the Old Harbour in Portsoy.  The shop is the only place in the world, where you can buy Portsoy Marble (serpentinite), which has been quarried and worked locally since the 16th century.   Our two holiday cottages (Nos 6 & 7 Shorehead) look directly out onto the Old Harbour and can accommodate parties of 6 and 2 respectively).

North East Scotland Preservation Trust (NESPT) is a Building Preservation Trust (BPT) that undertakes projects within the Aberdeenshire area. The NESPT own and operate the Portsoy Marble Shop and Holiday Cottages.

The remit of NESPT is to acquire and restore significant historic or architectural properties that are not restorable by normal commercial mechanisms.

NESPT was founded in 1985 through an initiative from Grampian Regional Council and the Scottish Civic Trust.
