When you submit your application online, or you email us your application, you are making an offer to subscribe to the North Coast 500 Business Members’ Club which, if accepted by us, will result in a legally binding contract in accordance with these terms and conditions.
At the point of renewal of your membership, your renewal payment is confirmation of the continued acceptance of these terms and conditions. You may not transfer any of your rights and obligations under these terms and conditions to another person.
For online applications, you will receive an email from us to confirm whether your application has been accepted. Please note, an acknowledgement that your application has been received or is being processed does not yet mean that the contract between us is formed.
For Business Memberships, a legally binding contract is formed upon receipt of your welcome email.
For Business Memberships, digital documents will be available on confirmation of payment and all other additional membership benefits will be sent out within 5 working days of payment via Royal Mail, 2nd Class. Working days are Monday-Friday.

You will automatically be signed up to receive our business-focused newsletter which is distributed via MailChimp. You are able to opt out of receiving this at any given stage.
Please ensure that you have the correct copyright permissions for using images of your business on your northeast250.com listing. North East 250 Ltd will not be held responsible for infringement of copyright laws on individual business listing on our website. Please use high res images where possible.

From 2020, charges for all repeat Business Memberships will be invoiced on an annual basis during March and April and your Business Membership will be valid for that year (2020). North East 250 Ltd may adjust the fee incrementally, all members will be informed in advance of any increase in charges. Charges for advertising on the paper copy route map are entirely separate to those of your Business Membership. Payments can be made on the website using PayPal or via invoice using BACS transfer.
Cancellation of your subscription to North East 250 can be made at any time. Please contact Sally on email@example.com. Cancellations made within 14 days of subscribing will be fully refunded.
If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code or other membership reference, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party.
If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your user its identification code or password, you must promptly notify us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once your Business Membership has been confirmed, you will be able to download different versions of the North East 250 logo and some brand guidelines for use on your marketing materials, social media content and website. This brand toolkit will be available in the Business Member login area of northeast250.com.
North East 250 Ltd is a privately funded company whose primary aim is to grow the brand, its reach and its positive impact on tourism in the North East of Scotland by creating enhanced economic impacts for the communities in the North East.
North East 250 is a trademarked brand. For continued investment in the marketing, audience reach and future success of the North East 250 route, it is essential that we can monetise the brand through licence agreements. Our Business, Supporters and Partner members already enjoy the use of the brand as part of their membership and association with us and this is something that we would like to grow. If you have a goods or services business, and would like to use the North East 250 brand, we are here to give you advice and guidance and lead you through our licensing process.
It is important to understand that it is forbidden to use the registered trademarks of North East 250 without permission. If you are currently doing so, we will be in touch to offer you opportunities to use the brand under license or, failing that, to advise that you will be required to stop using these brands. Unauthorised use does not create reinvestment in the development and audience reach of the route.
We always prefer to work with others to ensure that as many businesses as possible are able to gain from the brand collateral we have created. In order to boost the tourism economy and help to show that the North East is a sustainable place to live, work and grow your business, we must protect the brand.
