Scotland is in Phase 2 – What Does This Mean?

So we are eagerly waiting for of lockdown and welcome you all back on the NE250 for the best staycation and experience the best of Scotland.

Scotland’s minister has now released the action plan for Phase 2 and dates in place too. This can give everyone on the NE250 and in Scotland, a better outlook on when we can welcome again, the safety of our customers during these times is of high importance and this allows us to follow all the guidelines released by the government.

As per below the image from 3rd July the 5-mile travel distance becomes relaxed within Scotland which is music to our ears, you can travel which is the backbone of NE250 and something we are very excited for! We do ask for you not to jump in the car just yet and do read on to know further information.

The North East 250 explores everything for which Scotland is famous in a unique Scottish road trip taking you through the whisky distilleries of Speyside, the spectacular mountain passes of the Cairngorms National Park, the famous castles of Royal Deeside, the Granite City of Aberdeen, the rugged North Sea coastline to the east, and the picturesque seaside villages of the Moray Firth Coast.

15th July is the time to consider taking the NE250. From the 15th July, you can do several things with distance permitted and guidelines to be put in action. Holiday accommodation can open following the guidance provided by the government, indoor hospitality, museums and galleries all with social distancing. Now, these dates are not set in stone we are preparing for. We are all supporting each other on the NE250 and we desperately want to welcome you all, it will be second nature the social distancing and enforced in each place you may go too.
