Standing resplendently on the south side of the River Dee, the historical Maryculter House Hotel is a “must visit” location whilst travelling the North East 250. With history dating back to the late 12th century where the Knights Templar were granted land at Maryculter on which they later built the College of the Knights Templar. This beautiful building now forms the central part of Maryculter House that you see today and currently houses our residents’ lounge.
Boasting a true warm Scottish welcome, Maryculter House has the most magnificently enviable position on the riverside, where many rooms including our Poachers Bar have beautiful views of the river on which we can also arrange bespoke fishing experiences with our very own Ghillie.
Electric car charging station and Tesla charging station available onsite.
